Ratos publishes Annual and Sustainability Report 2025

Regulatory Information 2026-03-04

Ratos today publishes its Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025, a year marked by continued steps toward creating a more value-generating Ratos, with improved profitability, important structural transactions, and a clearly strengthened starting point for 2026.

Year 2025 was active and eventful, as Ratos strengthened both profitability and the long-term competitiveness of its companies. Adjusted EBITA for continuing operations amounted to SEK 1,931m, an increase of 17%, despite macroeconomic uncertainty. All segments contributed to the improved results, except for Industrial Services. Net sales amounted to SEK 18,832m, with somewhat subdued demand across most of our segments, although early signs of improvement were visible toward the end of 2025.

Ratos took steps toward becoming a more focused company and carried out several strategically important structural transactions and measures. During the year, the ventilation company airteam was divested and the construction group Sentia was listed on Oslo Børs. Following the listing, Ratos’ ownership stake in Sentia amounts to 40%. After the end of the fourth quarter, an agreement was also signed for the divestment of Expin Group. The restructuring of Plantasjen was completed, resulting in reduced costs, lower debt, and a more focused operation. In light of extensive structural changes in Plantasjen, a goodwill impairment was made to better reflect the company’s current operational structure. HL Display signed an agreement to acquire the German company Deinzer, further strengthening its market position as a leading provider of in-store solutions in Europe.

Ratos’ climate targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), representing both an important commitment and a strategic business step for Ratos. Customers of Ratos’ companies expect solutions that combine responsibility with performance, and with science-based targets, the companies strengthen their customer offerings and competitiveness. Sustainability is an integrated part of how Ratos builds long-term value, and the SBTi validation marks a significant milestone in that work.

“We enter 2026 with a positive outlook and determination. Ratos will focus on long-term shareholder returns through active ownership and value creation in our companies,” says Gustaf Salford, CEO of Ratos.

Ratos has published its Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025 together with a version in ESEF (European Single Electronic Format). The reports, attached to this press release, can also be downloaded at Reports and Presentations. A printed version can be ordered via Order Annual and Sustainability Report 2025.
